WRG is pleased to sponsor an amazing organization that supports our troops and honors their memory. Having been located in the Hampton Roads area for the past 120 years our relationship with the men and women of our nation's armed forces is something this firm has a deep respect for.
The 1st Annual VBFH Event was planned in less than five weeks after the tragic event of August 6th, 2011 when a Chinook helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan killing all on board, including 31 of our U.S. Military, many of which were Navy SEALs based locally in Virginia Beach.
Over the last five years, VBFH has grown into its own entity through the steadfast support of local businesses, our Board of Directors and volunteer staff. To date we have raised over $400,000 to support the Navy SEAL Foundation, Navy SEAL Museum and Trident House.
We continue to work closely with Jennifer Bragaw with The Navy SEAL Foundation and Rick Kaiser with the Navy SEAL Museum in coordinating these events and have secured a venue for the event at Camp Pendleton for the next 3 years. It is our hope to continue to grow this event each year and your continued support is greatly appreciated.
Proceeds of the 2016 VBFH event will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Navy SEAL Museum.
