At the 2017 American Bar Association Section of Family Law CLE Conference, WRG attorney Cheshire Eveleigh will be presenting, 'Custody Considerations in Military Domestic Cases'. This presentation addresses several aspects of parenting and custody unique to military families. Ms. Eveleigh, a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and Major General (Ret) Jeffery Arnold of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps will lend their decades of vast matrimonial and military legal experience and address the Uniform Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act (UDPCVA) and the Turner Amendment. This presentation also focuses on child custody jurisdiction under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA) as well as parenting scheduling considerations frequently encountered in military domestic cases.
