The Sandler Center's "Out of the Box" Emerging Artist Series takes place every Thursday from January 11 – March 1, 2018 in the Miller Studio.

The Jukes is a fabulous acoustic powerhouse featuring an eclectic mix of original and classic blues, swing, jump, country, and down-home boogie! Tom Dikon is a Hohner harmonica-endorsed recording artist, joined by vocalist/guitarist Jon Vallet, with Rich Ridolfino rounding out the trio on bass guitar and vocals. Tom’s recent CD – Tom Dikon & The Jukes Revival -- was a finalist in the National 2017 Blues Blast Awards, a “best self produced CD” finalist from the Blues Foundation in Memphis; highlighted on WHRO’s “Best Blues Releases of 2016” and multi-Veer award nominee.

They’ll be joined by artists who help record and produce the “Jukes Revival” CD. Tom & Rich were featured on the legendary Eddie Shaw’s “757 All Stars” CD, a finalist in the 2012 Nationwide Blues Blast Awards; and collectively they are all seasoned session musicians from recording studios across the East Coast. They perform approximately 65 shows a year in the greater Hampton Roads area, to include festivals, concerts and similar venues. Each show is a dynamic and entertaining mix of blues, swing, jump, country, classic rock and lots more to please music fans of all ages.

Out of the Box benefits the Sandler Center Foundation's Local Heroes program, which provides tickets for Hampton Road's "Local Heroes" (first responders, teachers, and military) and their families to attend a performance at the Sandler Center.

WRG attorney, Adam Carroll, serves on the board of the Sandler Center and proudly sponsors the "Out of the Box" music series.
